When You Come In

1.    Sign in.

2.    Find a seat from the arrangement I’ve made to watch the movie.

3.    Put all your materials under your desk.

4.    Make sure your cell phone is off and stowed away.

5.    Go potty now—no leaving the room once the movie starts.

Viewing:  “Remember the Titans”

1.    We are using this movie as our springboard for the last piece we’re going to write for class—the Perfect Moment. 

2.    For now, just watch the movie.

3.    When we get to the point where you will need to take some minimal notes (a ten-minute segment), I will let you know.

4.    If I touch you on the shoulder, you should go down to the auxiliary gym and give blood.  Be silent as a jaguar avoiding detection.  The rest of us are trying to watch the movie!

5.    I will be reading and commenting on WE#13 at the back of the room.
