Paragraph we re-wrote in class (p. 31):

Nichole drove her car to school.  She parked it in the front lot.  She was late, so she ran to her first block without getting a pass from the office--a clear violation of school policy. When she got to first block, she found that she was later than she thought--the lunch bell rang.

Writing Assignment:  Snapshot Poem (page 67)

1.  I have two more models to read to you:  Skubal and Erwin.

2.  Your white sheet should be filled out, and you should be ready to type.

3.  Review the rubric with me.

4.  Type your poem!    Make it fantabulous!

HOMEWORK

Due Monday

1.  Prompt Word Poem w/Rubric (completed)

2.  A typed rough draft of the Snapshot Poem (at least twenty lines)

3.  Map out your portfolio mentally, so you know what it will look like.  Start gathering materials.
