1.            READ YOUR ORANGE PORTFOLIO PAGES.

2.           GO THROUGH YOUR GOOGLE DOCS PORTFOLIO FOLDER.  DO YOU HAVE AT LEAST FIVE PIECES TO START FINALIZING?

3.          START REVISING AND EDITING THOSE PIECES.

FOURTH BLOCK AGENDA

Replace the fifty-word story assignment with the following:

Writing Workshop:  Simile Poem  (Brainstorming, then Typing Draft #1)                 

Preparation

1.      Create your two-column list with “=” in between each comparison.  Review our “Life = Football, 2012” file from Friday.

2.     You must have at least FIVE pairs listed before you start typing your poem.

Typing the Poem

3.     Create your Simile Poem!

a.     Minimum line length                             = 20

b.     Minimum points of comparison     = 5

4.     Print when I call time. (twenty minutes to work)
