Fluency Final Preparation--Organization
1.      On a sheet of paper, write your name.
2.     Number your paper 1, 2 and 3.
3.     Write down your partner preferences for the Fluency Final.
4.     No one will see this but me.

Fluency Final Preparation—Selecting Children’s Books
1.      Okay, we are in the middle of preparing for our fluency final.  Selecting great books to read to your kids is VITAL (the opposite of INCONSEQUENTIAL).  You will be reading to kindergarten through third grade—expand your thinking about what books would be best!
2.     With the partners I’ve selected for you, read and discuss FOUR children’s books, and fill out the worksheet (one worksheet per pair).
3.     At the end of work time, we’ll nominate our best books, and explain our reasons.

Read and Relax
·       Don’t quit reading until 9:33/11:13, if you want a “5” today.  Every minute counts!

Homework
·       Everyone, read for ONE HOUR between now and classtime Monday.
·       Fill out your gold sheet completely, and have someone sign for you (seminar teacher; parent; etc.)
