- I handed out our list of poetry terms (on red).
- We annotated poems for Marissa, Adrianna and Abbie (fifteen minutes).
Poetry Discussion
- We discussed the first three symbol poems. Everyone in class made at least one specific comment on each poem--well done!
Homework

CREATIVE WRITING
Writing Experiment #6: This I Believe OR Making a Comeback
- We typed for twenty minutes on this assignment, then turned it in.
Organization
- We took some time to re-organize the iBook cart.
Seasonal Writing
- When we came back from lunch, everyone wrote a seasonal poem (snowman, sledding, winter, etc.), and then we colored winter pics, drew illustrations for our poems/stories, or did hidden pictures.
Homework
- None
MODERN PROSE
- I went over what's going well so far in class, and what needs improvement.
- We read for about forty-five minutes today.
