Homework Due:
We turned in Journal #4 (two pages, minimum, any topic, any genre)
Housekeeping:
We handed papers back and did a folder log-in.
Observations:
We finished observing people today and making three positive comments about who they are, what they look like, what they're good at, etc.
Mid-Terms:
We filled out a seven-question mid-term self-evaluation today (what our strengths are; what we need/want to work on; what thinking we've done on our portfolio). We picked one piece from our folder for our parents to read at parent-teacher conferences.
Collaborative Writing:
We circled up and wrote a class poem. We finished the writing, but we only had time to read a few of them. We'll read the rest of them tomorrow and Wednesday.
