· Circle up, and sit like you were on Friday.
· If you were absent Friday, just hang out on the fringes. J

Pass these back to me. I’m going to run them off, so we can use
these lines for another poem in a couple of weeks.

Assignment: Fifty-Word Stories (Continued
from Friday)
1.
Carefully read and follow the
directions on page 28 for Part II.
2.
Refresh, if needed: Read all the models on page 28—begin with the
end in mind.
3.
Create three fifty-word stories of your
own.
4.
Use your Vocab Variety sheet and
thesaurus.com for help.
5.
Use page 29 as your checklist as you’re
writing each story, to make sure you get all the requirements in.
6.
When you finish typing all three stories,
make sure page 29 is filled out completely, and make sure your name is on the
top.
7.
Turn your sheet into me.
8.
Your three stories should be saved in
our class folder.
9.
Go on to the grammar assignment below,
please.
