When You Come In

1.      Please initial next to your name on the clipboard.

2.     Grab your manila folder off the heater, and keep it at your desk.

Let’s get organized:

1.      Pull the staples out of your turn-in packets.

2.     Put your book pages back in your book in number order.

3.     Put any non-numbered pages in another divider section of your binder.

4.     Put everything listed on your folder checklist IN the manila folder.

Editing Reminder

Ø  Any assignment handed in with lower case “i”s will lose 20% off the total grade.  You simply cannot turn that in on a school paper as a junior in high school (or in the workplace).

Mid-Term Reflection and Turn-In

1.      Carefully and thoughtfully fill out the mid-term reflection.

2.     Select one piece for your parent to read tonight at parent-teacher conferences.

3.     Staple like this, and turn it in:

a.     Top           =          Reflection

b.    Middle      =          Grade Sheet

c.     Bottom     =          Piece Your Parent Can Read

Quiet Reflection Time

Ø  Pull out all your papers from the term thus far.

Ø  Pull up your autobio poem on google.

o   Carefully read or re-read my comments on each piece of work you’ve done. 

o   Reflect (think) on the comments.

o   Click on the link below, and reply reflectively, thoughtfully, and in complete sentences (daily grade).
