Revision Day—Wednesday, 2/20/2013 (Fifty Minutes)
Your Goal
Ø  Make two pieces of writing substantially stronger by using all the lessons you’ve learned this term.
Ø  Take your time, and craft this revision.  If you finish in ten minutes, I guarantee your performance and grade will reflect that lack of work ethic.

How I’ll Grade This
Ø  Next week I’ll call you into the library one at a time, and we’ll review your documents on google to see that you’ve mastered all the items below.  (There is no paperwork for you to fill out today.)

What You Can Do to Check Yourself
Ø  Follow the directions below exactly.
Ø  Go to “File”, then “See Revision History” to make sure your changes are there.
Ø  Computer guidelines:  google drive; online synonym/dictionary; grooveshark/Pandora; free rice (only if you finish early)

e.     Give this a knock-out title
5.     Make at least substantial ten revisions/changes, and probably many more.
6.     Edit your poem for grammatical perfection.
7.     Print a copy to the Media Center, front and back, and I’ll send someone down in a few to pick them up.
8.     Staple your REVISED DRAFT ON TOP of your original, then lay it on the heater at the end of class.
