Fluency Final Preparation
- I handed out a list of recommendations for selecting books for young children.
- We watched/read a couple of stories from Tumblebooks up on the Big Screen, and we talked about why they would appeal to kiddos.
- We talked about the importance of selecting a great book to read for the fluency final.
- We walked to the library and browsed for books, then selected one or two and read them aloud in pairs and small groups.
Homework
- Read one of your books aloud to someone, and have that person evaluate you and fill out your pink rubric.

Homework for Monday
- We circled up and continued our reading of the play. We read and discussed from page thirty through page fifty, line 1150.
- We discussed the vocabulary on page 75, and we talked a bit about the strophe and the antistrophe as they appear in the play.
- We recorded a short definition for the word "motif", and we talked about and wrote down several motifs we've seen in the play.
Homework for Monday
- Dramatic Irony--complete the handout
- Fifteen most important words that get to the heart of what's going on in the play (Refer to you little handout.)
